Care For the Caregiver
Caring for someone living with dementia is complex, exhausting, and deeply personal.
This group was created exclusively for primary caregivers who need more than generic advice. You will gain practical dementia education that helps you understand what is happening neurologically and behaviorally, along with real-world behavioral support strategies you can implement immediately. We will talk through care transitions, problem-solve difficult moments, and create space for confidential, honest conversations with others who truly understand.
This is not a lecture. It is a supportive, professionally led gathering facilitated by a Certified Dementia Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Education. You will leave with clearer insight, increased confidence, and tools that help you feel more steady in your caregiving role.
This group meets on the second Saturday of each month at 2:00 pm at Camp Cummins Activity Center in New Braunfels, Tx. It is free to attend because no caregiver should have to carry this alone.
Please fill out the form to the right to register for the event, or if you have any questions.
